First step: Order plugin renewal if it’s been more than 12 months since your last update/order
It is always a good idea to test in a test environment and review all settings before going live with new plugin updates.

NETS Payment Services is a leading Scandinavian online payment service provider. Woocommerce NETS Gateway is a plugin that extends WooCommerce, allowing you to take payments via NETS.
It supports the following currencies: NOK, SEK, DKK, EUR, USD, GBP, AUD, THB. Please ask if you need any other currency.
== IMPORTANT NOTE ==
This plugin extends WooCommerce with a NETS payment gateway. The plugin will only work if WooCommerce is activated. This version does support multicurrencies and recurring payments with Woo Subscriptions.

== INSTALLATION ==
1. Download and unzip the latest release zip file.
2. If you use the WordPress plugin uploader to install this plugin skip to step 4.
3. Upload the entire plugin directory to your /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
4. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress Administration.
5. Settings:
a) Go to WordPress left menu below settings menu (see screenshot below), click the Nets Netaxept tab. Configure your NETS payment settings. Activate debug log.
b) Go to WooCommerce Settings > Checkout tab and configure the Nets Payment window and the Vipps Instant Payment window of you have a Vipps agreement in place. Both are activated per default.
6. If you are using the module with Woo Subscriptions then add this as the payment gateway in the Woo Subscription plugin settings. If you have Easy payment via Netaxept (forenklet betaling), then activate this. If you don’t have this agreement (only for Netaxept advanced users, then unmark this in the settings. If this is being marked and there is no agreement, then the customer trying to pay in the payments window will be kicked out.
7. Avoid issues with validating customer phonenumbers, mobilephones and Iphones? After upgrading or installing the latest versjon please check with Netaxept support if customer phone number validation is activated on Nets side. To avoid any trouble then you can send an email to nets support asking them to deactivate customer phone number validation for your Merchant ID.

Please get in touch with Netaxept support team if something is till not working and they will investigate and help you. Usually they have the key to this issue. Please copy the register call from the log.
8. Vipps payment?
Notice: You should not use internal or hybrid capture for Vipps transactions on non-virtual products. When doing so the customer will not receive the order confirmation from the webshop.
9. Test your setup with test merchant ID and test token. Test all processes by customer av webshop owner. You can find test cards here.
Vipps does not support testing so in order to test the whole process then we suggest setting up a test product that costs 1 kr.
10. Go live. Remember that card transactions are has to be completed in order for the payment to be captured by changing the status to Complete in WC admin, unless you have set it to auto capture in the Netaxept payment settings in WooCommerce Checkout Settings tab. If the status is pending then the money is only being reserved in the customers payment card.
11. For debugging please make sure you have the right merchant ID and Token, and make sure you have set PHP memory limit to at least 64 mb and that the theme is 100% woocommerce compatible and set up right.
Make sure that if you want to test it before going live, then you need to contact support at NETS and make sure they have set it to test mode in their end as well.

13. Important when upgrading
- Please make sure to make a backup of your installation.
- Test the upgrade and latest version in a test environment or on a staging server before putting it out live. Do test all processes and touch points in both users end and webshop owners end before going live.
- Make sure to note down your Merchant ID and Netaxept Payment Token before updating in order to recover quickly.
- Ask Netaxept Support for a test token if you need a testing sandbox.
- The API Manager we use has issues with some server settings and may display an API software error message when upgrading og re-installing it. We know that it might happen sometimes, so please contact us and tell us what you experience – as this is no crisis – but please provide us with a wp admin log in.
- Allways make upgrades to your payment plugins when you expect to have the lowest possible number of customers online. Even for only for 5 minutes, then set the webshop to maintenance mode after warning them and sharing it on other channels. If you have a great Facebook page with lots of fans and friends, please see to that they know your are upgrading in order to get a better and more secure website. Have a customer service available on Facebook, when your site is down. Allways. You will have far more work to do and mess to clean up if you Do NOT upgrade on a Black Friday!

Debugging, upgrading and support
Before asking for help please read this:
- Make sure you have the right merchant ID and Token. Token is not the same as your password for Nets admin.
- Make sure you have set PHP memory limit to at least 64 mb and that the theme is 100% woocommerce compatible and set up right.
- Check the WooCommerce Systemstatus for any red sentences and follow the instructions there is any.
- If you get a «Page Not Found Error» prior to the redirection to Payment Page: If you are using WPML it can occur that the Pages for the display of the payment methods or for the redirection to Nets Netaxept end in a Page Not Found Error. In this case you have to duplicate your pages in the corresponding languages and set the right pages for cart, checkout and my-account in WC settings/checkout. After doing so you should go to you permalinks av save them. Please also check for settings in WMPL for woocommerce and multicurrencies. Sometimes developers from third-parties are also missing up string translations and endpoint translations. Make sure this is not the case.
- Make sure that if you want to test it before going live, then you need to contact support at NETS to get a test Token and make sure they have set it to test mode in their end as well.
- Allways ask Nets Support before asking Nettpilot for help. We will ask you to do this and require feedback from Nets in order to handle any issues.
